Yo Sushi

Yo Sushi

Yo! Sushi is a Japanese 'Kaiten' sushi bar offers customers a self-service dining experience. Where customers can choose from over 90 colour coded dishes on a conveyor belt. All of the food is freshly prepared in front of the customers and the fish based items on the conveyor belt are changed every two hours to maintain freshness.

Established in London in 1997 by Simon Woodruff, Yo! Sushi has gone on to develop international franchised partners in Russia, Malaysia and the Middle East. Yo! Sushi arrived in Ireland in 2007. At the moment the Ireland-based restaurants are owned and run by Abrakebabra Investments until Abrakebabra Investments familiarises itself with the business model. Yo! Sushi is different to the other fast food brands Abrakebabra Investments owns, because opening a Yo! Sushi restaurant costs more to fit out and run, which could be anything from half a million to one million euros.
