The Stagecoach Road Show hits Ireland
Prospective franchisees with enthusiasm for performing arts in Ireland will have an opportunity to find out about the Stagecoach Theatre Arts Schools franchise at the Stagecoach Road Show, which will be held at the Jurys Inn, Parnell Street, Dublin on Friday 2nd November during the afternoon and evening and all day Saturday November 3rd.
Stagecoach schools teach children how to act, dance and sing, providing them all with basic skills, which helps boost confidence and self-esteem. Schools operate for three hours usually on a Saturday or Sunday during normal term time where the youngsters are taught the three disciplines during one hour sessions.
The company has followed the Business Format Franchise route to establish over 600 schools worldwide, including in the UK, the USA, Germany, Spain, Canada and Australia. Stagecoach already has four schools operating in Dublin with 185 registered students, as well as an Early Stages school with 14 pupils, and has now targeted "significant growth" in Ireland. The first stage of the company's planned expansion programme calls for the recruitment of 15 new franchisees ideally possessing either a performing arts or arts teaching background.
The franchise start-up costs 27,000 euros which includes a one-week training course and ongoing franchise support. Franchisees also have the option to attend the Stagecoach Foundation Course run in conjunction with Trinity Guildhall and RADA.
The Road Show is intended to enable prospective franchisees to discuss all aspects of the business, as well encouraging them to visit some of the existing schools in Dublin where they will be able to see Stagecoach in action.
