Award-winning franchise, Kendlebell, is actively looking for franchise owners who are keen to capitalise on the company’s experience, support and success to build their own thriving Kendlebell businesses.

Kendlebell was originally founded in the UK in 1997 and brought to Ireland in 2006 by business partners David Kelly and Tom Shanahan. Both having worked in large multi-nationals, the duo identified a niche for a quality outsourcing solution provider for SME businesses in Ireland. Their first office is located in Fairview, Dublin, but since then a further three franchises have been setup in Kimmage, County Dublin and Naas.

Kendlebell franchise owners provide virtual office services to small and medium-sized businesses throughout their exclusive territories. The services are aimed at business owners ranging from professional photographers and driving instructors through to property consultants and entrepreneurs, who are too busy to constantly deal with customers but want to retain their professional image.

Services provided include personalised telephone answering, E-fax services, online diary management, call transfer, non geographic numbers, boardroom hire, business mailing addresses, order taking, customer service, back office administration, and holiday and sickness cover.

Unlike most other answering specialists, Kendlebell takes exceptional steps to ensure the same people consistently take client calls allowing them to develop a close relationship and rapport with the clients and understand their individual business needs. Smaller clients benefit from the more personal levels of service and larger clients benefit from the resilience Kendlebell offer by not having all our resources in one place.

As well as providing support and guidance to its franchise owners, Kendlebell also provides a thorough training programme before the launch of their business to ensure each franchise owner has all the knowledge needed to run a successful Kendlebell franchise. In return, Kendlebell is looking for franchise owners who have a strong sales drive, good at people management, are computer literate, professional, and can provide excellent customer service.

Since David and Tom launched the pilot franchise location in Dublin in 2006, the business concept has proved a hit and Kendlebell even won the Irish Franchise Association’s award for Best Emerging Franchise Opportunity in 2007. Since then various Kendlebell franchises have been launched across Ireland, and the company is now seeking the right franchise owners to continue its nationwide expansion.

Potential earnings

Potential earnings can be lucrative for those that are willing to work hard to help provide the best level of customer service possible. In year one, you should break even and in year two, you should earn between £25,000-£30,000. In year three, this should rise to £40,000-£50,000.

Thereafter, you should be able to maintain this income stream and grow it further. You are building a business with a growing portfolio of customers and so you are also increasing the potential value of your business.
