Before setting up his County Dublin Kendlebell office in Greenogue Business Plaza, Rathcoole, Donal Daly was previously Sales Manager at eircom, where he had over 13 years’ sales management experience, profitably growing market-share in the information communications technology market. He specifically focused on serving the needs of Ireland’s leading businesses, providing innovative and customised customer contact solutions.

Donal availed of a management voluntary leaving programme in 2010 with the intention of seeking new business opportunities and being in control of his own destiny. He signed an agreement in early 2011 to become a Kendlebell franchise owner, providing complete virtual office services to new and existing business owners in SME, Corporate and Public sectors.


“The Kendlebell business model appealed to me as it is a good fit for my existing skill set. The fact I knew both Tom Shanahan and David Kelly from my background in eircom also helped me make the decision to sign as a franchise owner,” says Donal.

“I have been very busy since we opened our office. I have learned a lot about the different aspects of managing your own business from attending networking events, helping develop business via word of mouth marketing, using social media and search engines to generate leads, as well as learning about finance systems to ensure business continues to function.

“My role as owner/Director is to ensure the business is operating in a harmonious manner and achieves business plan objectives. I believe my strong people management experience from my previous role as Sales Manager will assist me in retaining and motivating my team.”
