Kall Kwik and Prontaprint to invest £3.5m in network
Print on demand franchises Kall Kwik and Prontaprint have announced that over £3.5m of new investment will be put into the franchise networks this year, following a surge of interest in the franchise from business professionals turning to franchising as a way to stay afloat in the credit crunch.
Contracts for 25 re-sales or new franchises across the combined networks have already been exchanged and a further five deals are expected to complete by the end of the year.
On Demand Communications Chief Executive officer Kealan Lennon, comments: 'These positive investment figures confirm that confidence in the franchise market remains high.
'The franchise route is proving to be very popular, bringing with it the power of an established name, a proven business model and unparalleled support from the franchisor. It is therefore understandable that in this uncertain economic climate, an increasing number of entrepreneurs are turning to franchising to take control of their destiny.'
