Western Europe's first men's grooming franchise
Jacks of London is taking men's grooming to new levels as Western Europe's first men-only barbershop franchise, and with men taking far more interest in their appearance than ever before the male grooming industry is one of the fastest growing market sectors in the UK with a massive 560 per cent growth since 1998 and set to be worth £1.5 billion by 2008.

This revolutionary new barbershop concept is the brainchild of experienced Salon Manager and business woman Sue Whitehead. 'The Jacks concept is a grooming revolution. This is a paradigm shift in men's hairdressing and we're pioneering big changes in this industry. At Jacks you don't just get a haircut you get a lifestyle experience.'
Jacks of London provide a unique male-only environment, where in addition to your haircut or traditional cut-throat shave, it comes complete with plasma TVs, personal MP3 stations and free beer! 'We have the best barbers, middle of the road prices and the coolest environment any guy in need of a trim could wish for,' says Sue.
With plans to open up to 20 franchised branches in the next five years Jacks is looking to recruit ambitious businessmen and women with around £40,000 liquid capital to invest. Jacks franchisees don't have to be hairdressers. A 100 per cent support package, which includes comprehensive barber training programmes for staff is included. Sue adds: 'It's far more important to us to find ambitious people with experience in managing and motivating a team and with a relentless determination to succeed.
'Jacks is no ordinary barbershop,' confirms David Tonchin, who helped mastermind the Dyno-Rod franchise. 'Franchisees getting in now will reap the benefits of an industry poised to see dramatic growth over the next few years.'
