Domiciliary Care franchise wins 'The Best Emerging Franchise' award
Home Instead Senior Care is celebrating after winning the Irish Franchise Association's 'The Best Emerging Franchise' award. In the last 12 months Home Instead Senior Care has won numerous awards.
Managing Director Ed Murphy says: 'The response among potential franchisees has been excellent and despite the fact that the business requires a special set of skills, including a natural empathy for the elderly, I am confident that a successful roll-out throughout Ireland can be achieved within the next 24 months.
'We directly employ caregivers, whose references are checked thoroughly. They are also Garda checked. Our care givers undergo a rigorous training programme and are supervised by a healthcare professional who liaises with the person's doctor and monitors their general health.'
'Central to the success of the service is the relationship between the caregiver and the senior person. We are also sensitive to the personal aspects of the relationship with the person being cared for. This is a long-term commitment and if clients are not completely content, Home Instead will substitute the care giver.'
Home Instead Senior Care aims to provide the elderly with the help that they need to be able to live in their own homes comfortably for longer. The services on offer include: assistance with walking, dressing and meal preparation to mediation reminders and housekeeping such as laundry, medical appointments or shopping.
