Franchise appoints new General Manager
Fastway Couriers has appointed Pat Coen as General Manager for the West of Ireland franchise region. Pat's role will be to manage company operations and develop the courier services and franchise opportunities in the West region.With over 30 years senior business experience in the multinational IT sector and previous responsibilities including operations in Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, India, Eastern Europe, the UK and USA Pat is an ideal candidate for the General Manager role.
Pat says: 'I am excited about my new position as General Manager and I am looking forward to working with our customers and franchise partners in the West of Ireland. In the coming months, my goal is to enhance the experience that our customers have with Fastway Couriers; growing the business and allocating the remaining franchise opportunities to suitable individuals. I am confident that I have the knowledge and capabilities to help strengthen the Fastway Couriers operation in the West.'
Fastway Couriers was established in New Zealand in 1983 and has over 1,700 franchises across 10 countries. The company was established in Ireland in 2002 and since then over 300 people earn their livelihood from the Fastway Couriers (Ireland) system.
