A franchise that is going places!
Following the success of their Longford and Carrick-on-Shannon stores, franchise owners Fergal McGovern and Rhona O’Sullivan are now about to embark on their third store early this year. Terms have been agreed on a 5000 sq.ft. store in Swords, which is double the size of most other Esquires Coffee stores in Ireland.
“Because our offerings in Carrick and Longford have proved so popular, we feel we need to go for a store this size,” explains Fergal.
“Quite a number of our customers are people travelling from Dublin over to the West and North West of Ireland and we would have a reputation for being a very popular stop off. We are constantly being asked by these customers, when are we going to open in Dublin? We are very excited at the prospect and we feel if we are to offer the same level of service and comfort then we need to have a store this size to adequately cater for our customers.
“At Esquires, our main aim is serving that perfect cup of coffee combined with the freshest locally sourced produce,” says Rhona.
“Relax with the daily papers and our professional ‘baristas’ will take care of the rest.
“We always strive to provide our customers with excellent customer service, it is and will always be a hallmark of our business,” adds Fergal.
The freedom of running their own business under such a renowned name is not the only benefit both Fergal and Rhona have discovered since becoming Esquires franchise owners.
“The ongoing support we have received has been excellent,” says Rhona. “The Esquires head office team is very experienced and hands-on, they regularly visit us and we know they are always on the other end of a phone.
“We are very happy with the way things have gone for us in our first three years and we would be more than happy to recommend an Esquires Coffee franchise to anyone interested in getting in to the café business.”
