Domino's Pizza sales up in Ireland by five per cent

Domino's Pizza has said that its sales in Ireland have grown 5.1 per cent to €12.1m, in the 13 weeks leading up to the end of June.

Domino's now has 48 Irish stores and has reported its sixth month in a row of positive like-for-like sales growth, leading to growing confidence that the Irish market is starting to head into clearer waters.

Lance Batchelor, Chief Executive Officer, said: "I am very pleased with the overall results of the first half - particularly with regards to the UK and Ireland. Our systems leads the leisure sector and with the majority of our business coming via web and mobile platforms, we are now truly an online retailer."
