Cartridge Green has increased its franchise network with the launch of new stores in Cork and Kerry.

Franchise owner Eoghan Darmody will run both stores’ corporate services, while Gillian Lewis will manage the Kerry store in Tralee.

"We are very excited as we feel there is a massive opening for a quality driven printer cartridge provider in Cork and Kerry,” said Darmody. “When we did some research into the industry, Cartridge Green was the only franchise that provided a consistent and effective brand message that was backed up with a superior quality product and unique product service range.”

Before launching their stores, Darmody and Lewis, along with Kieran Darmody, undertook a comprehensive five-week training programme covering all aspects of running the environmentally friendly printer franchise opportunity, including the Club Cartridge Green, Toner Watch and Pay Per Page services.

“The Cartridge Green franchise model is continuously evolving to meet what customers want, which was very reassuring for us,” added Darmody. “We are delighted to be part of this exciting, new Irish success story and we expect to contribute to it by opening additional stores in Killarney and Cork within 18 months."

Nik Healy, Director of Franchising at Cartridge Green, said: “The Kerry and Cork stores are an important step in fulfilling our plan to open a store in every major town/city in Ireland. In these extremely tough economic times, it is testament to the Cartridge Green brand and our franchise owners that we can continue to buck the overall negative trend and continue our development plan both in Ireland and the UK."
