Card Connection territory for re-sale
Irish Card Connection franchise territory on the market for the first time in 7 years.
Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection, has announced that its successful franchise territory in South Dublin is up for sale for the first time in seven years.
The territory, only on the market due to a change in personal circumstances, is a compact area made up of both city and rural geography and has been run as a profitable business since 1999. The franchise is considered as having further potential to expand into new retail outlets, adding to its already established and loyal customer base.
Card Connection itself was established in 1992 and within a few years grew to be the largest and most successful organisation supplying greeting cards on a consignment basis, becoming a full member of the British Franchise Association in 1995.
Using a proven system, Card Connection franchisees place greetings card ranges in retail outlets on a 'consignment' basis. This means the stock and display equipment is installed on free loan to the retailer. This is one step beyond 'sale or return' as Card Connection customers don't have to purchase the stock initially, only paying for what they sell. The award-winning merchandising service provided to retailers by local franchisees has established the company's excellent reputation especially within the convenience sector.
Through its franchisees the company supplies convenience stores, sub post offices, petrol station forecourts and staff restaurants in large offices. In addition, Card Connection supplies numerous national accounts, which include the likes of Barry's Of Mallow, Gala Retail Services, Mangans Wholesale, Londis Topshop/ADM and Texaco.
