New automotive franchise opportunity
Since launching its franchise opportunity at the EXPO in February this year, Car Medic has already awarded its first six franchises. Car Medic, which has over 350 franchise owners across the UK, provides interior and exterior repairs to motor vehicles that are carried out at the customer's own garage or driveway.
The Car Medic franchise is being rolled out nationwide through Master Franchise Owner Paul Callan, a sales and marketing specialist. Callan said: "The response from EXPO was very encouraging. Over the two days of the exhibition we recorded more than 60 leads. We've sold six franchises already - Wexford, Limerick city, Offaly, Louth, Wicklow and Dunlaoghaire/Rathdown - and there are several other prospects in the pipeline. Our objective is to emulate the success of Car Medic in the UK and develop the franchise throughout Ireland."
Entrepreneurs interested in sharing in Car Medic's success can do so by applying for a franchise. "We believe we offer the most comprehensive turnkey franchise package in our field. There are no extras, optional add-ons or varying levels of support," added Callan.
"The franchise costs €15,995 + VAT and for this price we provide everything needed to run a successful business. We provide all your equipment, open-ended expert training, technical assistance, corporate clothing, marketing and promotional materials.
"Overheads are minimal and our franchise owners earn cash profits from the word go. No previous industry experience is necessary - you simply have to follow our proven, winning formula."
Those looking to become a Car Medic franchise owner should be ambitious, practical people who can manage their time effectively and get the most out of their business. "The opportunity is there but the level of success will be down to you," said Callan, who is also offering two other franchises from the Car Medic company; Air Medic and Tyre Medic, which can be added to the Car Medic franchise or taken as separate franchises.
Andrew O'Toole, who was a Car Medic franchise owner in England for five years before moving to Ireland to take up a franchise in Co. Wicklow, said: "It's easy to see why this franchise is so successful.
"Minor vehicle damage like dents, scuffs and scratches to panels, bumpers, wheel arches, mirrors and alloy wheels are inevitable in today's driving conditions.
"Until now, using conventional methods, even the smallest repair has been expensive and time-consuming, the whole panel had to be repainted in a specialist body repair shop, with the vehicle out of use for several days. With Car Medic, we take the body shop to the customer, delivering high quality at a low price."
