Camile moves into pole position in Dublin
The UK and Ireland’s first online delivery restaurant franchise, Camile Thai Kitchen, is to open two new restaurants in Dublin in the next three months, catapulting it into being one of the leading brands for Thai food in the country. The new restaurants will be in addition to the seven existing Camiles, including its latest addition in the Nutgrove Centre in Rathfarnham.
“We have long wanted a location in Silicon Docks in Dublin,” said Camile’s founder, Brody Sweeney. “Our new opening on Pearse Street will serve not only customers from Google, Facebook and Twitter, whose European headquarters are located in the area, but also students at Trinity College Dublin.”
Founded in 2010, Camile has gone from strength to strength by specialising in the home delivery of delicious, restaurant-quality Thai food in under 30 minutes. Camile has recruited it’s first franchise owners, and it’s first two franchised outlets will open in Ireland in 2014.
The typical Camile customer is a young urban professional with money to spend but no time to cook. They order straight from whatever screen they are using; laptop, tablet or phone. Camile then cooks to order, and deliver in under 30 minutes, in an approximately 3km radius around each restaurant.
Camile was created by franchise veteran Brody Sweeney, who together with his management team, built the O’Brien’s Sandwich Bar franchise into a chain of more than 350 outlets in 16 countries.
