A Right Royal Contract
Calbarrie Ltd, the electrical safety solutions expert based in Milton Keynes, has won a major contract - appliance testing for the royal households.

With other names on Calbarrie's client list including the Bank of England, the BBC and the Metropolitan Police, it is clear to see why the firm's credentials impressed the selection team for the royal households contract.
Ian Panter, development director at Calbarrie, commented: 'The fact that we have been an approved supplier to the Ministry of Defence and the Metropolitan Police for a number of years means that we are well equipped to take on such a high profile job, as does our commitment to quality.'
This commitment to quality has recently earned Calbarrie another important accolade as the firm has recently had its application accepted to become a member of the Electrical Contractor's Association (ECA), a national trade organisation which provides a focus for the electrical industry in terms of safety, training, qualification, technological development and performance.
Ian continued: 'Gaining our ECA membership was important as it demonstrates to potential clients that our skills and services have been tested by an independent body that shares the same passion for quality as we do. It will certainly play an important role when we are pitching for future tenders.'
Not that the company needs any help in that area. Figures show that Calbarrie Ltd, which has around thirty-one offices spread across the country, has completed around five million appliance tests in this year alone.
With work already commencing on royal household appliance tests, it looks like business will continue to boom for Calbarrie Ltd.
