First Rankin franchise opens

The franchisee, Robert Craig, will operate the 1600sq ft, 70 seat café in the high street, employing 15 staff. The café will come complete with a sound proof play area facilitating up to 40 kids. The new addition will bring the number of cafés to 10, which up until now have solely remained company owned.

Paul Rankin (pic below) commented: 'We are delighted to have a café in Bangor, a thriving town and a popular shopping location. We have always looked to expand the growing number of outlets and through our newly developed franchise programme we are able to do this.

'We will be open similar hours to the shopping precinct and will have a selection of nutritious breakfasts, snacks and lunches coupled with a full kids menu and of course a great cup of coffee.'
