Pizza Hut to roll out seven new stores by the end of 2009

By the end of this year Pizza Hut is planning to open seven new stores throughout Ireland, with additional outlets in 2010. John and Patrick Cronin, who own the Pizza Hut Master Franchise for Ireland, will oversee the launch of the new stores.

John said: 'Irish consumers are without doubt, tightening their purse strings, but they are still looking for a satisfying and inexpensive alternative to dining out, during the recession.

'We have worked extremely hard at delivering the Pizza Hut restaurant experience to the home and with this in mind; we recently launched a selection of Pasta and Chicken options to the menu, which allow for all the varied tastes on the family. In addition, we have also increased our selection of desserts to cater for the adults with a sweet tooth, as well as the most popular treats among children. This is all very much in line with our customers' demands. We test all our products extensively to ensure that the quality and standards are maintained during the delivery of our meals and if the product's quality is any way compromised by the time it would take to deliver, we simply don't include these options on our menu. We very much operate on the belief that we give the customer what they want and we believe this has been the key to our success.'
