O'Briens opens its largest store in the world
O'Briens Sandwich Bars has opened its largest store in the world in the Victoria Square Shopping Centre in Belfast. The new store, which is owned and operated by Northern Ireland area development agents Adrian and Damien Garvey will have 180 seats and will offer the full made-to-order and pre-made menus and a takeaway service.
Adrian and Damien own seven other stores in Northern Ireland as well as one in the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre in Dublin. Adrian says: "O'Briens is the perfect fit for us because of its quality, fresh, healthy food on offer. We firmly believe in the O'Briens concept and product range and are very excited to be launching the largest O'Briens store in the world right here in Belfast."
The O'Briens franchise model generates a group turnover of more than 100 million euros and has approximately 300 outlets in 15 countries worldwide. The brand has an emphasis on healthy eating and monitors portion size and salt content in all its products and calorie counters on its menus.
