Esquires Coffee Houses continues Irish expansion

Esquires Coffee Houses
PIC: Kilkenny franchise Richie Mackey launches his Esquires outlet with special guest Jackie Tyrell, member of the three-in-a-row victorious All Ireland Kilkenny hurling team.
Coffee shop franchise Esquire Coffee Houses has recently opened its latest store in Kilkenny and is due to open a further location soon. Founded in Canada in the 1990s, Esquire Coffee Houses now has 10 locations throughout the North and South of Ireland and their next store is due to open in Carrick on Shannon.

Managing Director Tony McVerry attributes a major part of Esquires Coffee Houses success to having fully dedicated franchisees and staff onboard. He says: 'All our franchisees have a passion for the business and they are committed to delivering an extremely high level of service. A business background is preferable but not essential as we provide all the training required.'

Esquire Coffee Houses provides franchisees with a turnkey package provided by its franchise development team. The package ensures that franchisees have the necessary support in the start up stages of their new business and encompasses site selection and acquisition, planning, design, building, equipment, staff selection and ongoing training.

The Kilkenny outlet is conveniently located on Kilkenny's High Street. Franchisee Richie Mackey reflects: 'Our competitively priced menu and quick service has gone down a treat with our customers. They also love our home baking - all our cakes are sourced locally here in Kilkenny and our scones, muffins and Danish pastries are freshly baked in the shop every morning.'

Also proving popular with customers is Esquires commitment to Fairtrade - all their Coffee, Tea and Hot Chocolate is exclusively Fairtrade, something that no other coffee chain offers in Ireland.
