Your Route to National Success

If you're looking at franchising as a method of expanding your business effectively and profitably, we can provide an intelligent evaluation of its potential for franchising and implement a carefully structured Franchise Development Programme, the A-B-C system.

The A-phase Onsite evaluation of the business concept to secure data, brainstorm ideas and then undertake a 3-4 week work programme to generate an Action Document. This document includes: Key conclusions on criteria for successful franchising; Key elements & itemised costs of franchise package; Licence fee recommendation; Franchisee area financial projections; Critical assumptions underlying these projections; Franchisor support structure needed; Ongoing fee structure between franchisor/franchisee; Operating Manual requirements; SWOT analysis on franchising the business; Recommendations & ideal plan of action. Another client meeting would follow to present and discuss contents, and to clarify the best way forward.

The B-Phase This phase generally takes several months, adhering to the work programme established in the A-Phase. Here we work with clients and other professionals to prepare the infrastructure needed for a successful franchise launch.

B-Phase Work Programme includes: Intellectual property rights protection; Finalisation of support services & franchise package; Preparing P&L accounts/cashflow; Fixing fee structure; Producing the franchise prospectus & Operating Manual; Designing the training programme; Finalising corporate image elements; Strategy for recruitment leads; Procedure for handling recruitment; Documentation for banks, lawyers, franchisees, etc; Producing the information for Memorandum document.

In this vital implementation phase, we work with franchise professionals to ensure an attractive and professional franchise offering is created. B-Phase objectives include creating a credible and professional corporate image, a clear and inviting prospectus, and an operating manual. The new business format should now be ready for a professional launch as an attractive franchise.

The C-Phase This involves marketing the franchise and consolidating the first franchisees. We therefore stress the importance of allocating the franchise to parties of the right calibre. Generally, my clients use The Franchise Magazine, which if used correctly, they find an excellent medium for generating quality responses. Having generated enquiries, we show clients how to invest time and patience in handling them correctly, for it is all too easy to invest in promotions and then mishandle the enquiries. Our in-depth experience of the industry helps clients to avoid the common mistakes at every stage and move on steadily to enjoying the benefits of successful franchising.
